It's Easter! Almost.

Easter time in Klagenfurt means the fountains are turned on and Neuerplatz becomes the Easter Market!

I finally got my first package AND my first letter in the mail today!

My friend Aleigh sent me girl scout cookies, ramen noodles, and an Iowa postcard!!!  I love it!

My parents sent me a card with some money for new books!  

Venedig. Venezia. Venice!

Jen and I went to Venice today! We left Klagenfurt at 6 am, arrived in Venice at 10 am and left to come back at 6 pm. It was the perfect day trip to Italy!

This is inside Doge's Palace on San Marco Square. The rooms on one side were full of gilded ceilings and oil paintings. This side was a prison!

I just got back from London tonight! So here are a few teaser photos. I'll post more with a video soon!

My first view of Big Ben. You come out of the underground and there it is! This was easily my favorite landmark in London!

Me in front of the Tower of London. We spent all morning here, and it was totally worth it. The crown jewels were gorgeous! (And Anne Boleyn was here!!!)

Glenna and I decided to go to Oxford for the afternoon. So worth it! We saw tons of super old college buildings, an indoor market, and ate very traditional British food (pies!)! 

Me in front of Westminster Abbey. We attended the morning Matins service and were treated to almost an entire service of the Westminster Abbey choir singing. Boys choirs are the best!

Everyday I'm Shufflin'

Villach!

Jen, Luz, and I decided to head over to Villach today! It was about a 30 minute train ride each way for only about 7 Euro round trip! Villach is the second biggest city in the province of Carinthia, of which Klagenfurt is the capital and the biggest city.

This is a traditional Carinthian dish which I'm not sure the name of  but is basically noodles filled with potato. So good!

Really pretty church! We saw about 3 different churches just in the small area we walked around.
