Presenting Ljubljana in Film and Photos

Ljubljana, Slovenia

Today I went to Ljubljana with the exchange group at the University. The trip down and a tour of the city was free! The city was absolutely beautiful, partly because it was so warm and sunny. Here are a few teaser pictures. I'll be posting a video soon with more!

Fasching and Animierdame

FASCHING

Yesterday was Fasching! Fasching is basically the German/Austrian version of Mardi Gras. Everyone goes out to bars and parties before Lent!

It's practically like Halloween! We saw: a banana, a nun, a lego man, some cowboys and indians, policemen, a tiger, and lots more!

Back to the Lake!

Today was pretty much the warmest it's been since I've been here, so I decided to take a walk back to the lake. 

The ice was melting a bit, so I got a good preview of what the lake will be like soon! 

This canal leads from the lake and the trail is right alongside it. Makes for a nice walk back!

Yesterday I finally arrived in Klagenfurt! I'm still getting settled in my room, hopefully going shopping pretty soon! I have a roommate, but I think she might be on holiday right now? I haven't taken any pictures yet, but I will make sure to take some today and hopefully post them alongside a video!
